These Terms of Use govern access to and use of this CineTally community website and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

This Service is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Letterboxd.

"Letterboxd" and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification purposes.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and recovery code.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your linked Letterboxd username current.

You may only upload your own Letterboxd export data, or data you are authorized to submit.

Any weekly RSS refresh is consent-based and opt-in. You may disable RSS refresh in account settings at any time.

The Service does not perform film-page scraping for user accounts. Data ingestion is based on user-provided exports and opt-in RSS refresh.

You agree not to abuse, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service, infrastructure, accounts, or data.

You agree not to upload malicious files, impersonate other users, or use the Service for unlawful activity.

You may request deletion of your account data through account settings. Deleting your account removes your uploaded history from the community dataset and disables RSS refresh.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version is posted on this page with an updated effective date.
